Difference between Gay and Shemale
Difference between Gay and Shemale
Wow, the depth and breadth of the misinformation in these answers is BREATHTAKING!
"Shemale" = a term describing a male-to-female transgender person who intentionally retains their male genitalia, while surgically and hormonally transforming the rest of their body to appear as feminine as possible. Typically these individuals pursue a career in some part of the "sex industry".
PLEASE NOTE, this term does NOT necessarily apply to all NON-OP trans-women, and there are MANY who take great umbrage at being referred to as "shemales", particularly from those outside the trans-community, much the same as most black people resent the "N-word".
"Transsexuals" are those who either are, or have serious intentions of, living full time, 24/7, as the gender opposite of how they were born, due to a profound conflict between what is in their hearts and minds vs what is between their legs.
For a wide variety of reasons too complex to go into here, not ALL transsexuals will undergo gender reconfiguration surgery (GRS), but that does NOT make them "shemales".
"Ladyboy" is a slang term specific to ethnicly Asian transsexuals, due to their typically youthful appearance.
Then there is the old "umbrella" term - TRANSGENDER - which can be safely used without fear of offense for pretty much ALL OF THE ABOVE catagories, although individual results may vary.
Get it?
Got it?
GOOD!

Wiki Loves Monuments is an annual international photography competition held during the month of September. The competition is organized by Wikipedia community members of each participant country with help from Wikimedia affiliates. Wiki Loves Monuments is an annual international photography competition that promotes cultural heritage sites of all participating nations
The competition aims to promote the cultural heritage sites of Pakistan and all the other participating nations. The competition will help promote photography of historically and culturally significant sites across the country. The competing photographs will be chosen for use in Wikipedia articles for those historic sites. The competition also helps in bringing a country’s cultural heritage to people across the globe.
Last year’s competition saw over 8,750 contestants from 41 countries and submitted over 308,000 photographs. More than 700 contestants were from Pakistan alone and they submitted more than 12,000 photographs last year. This year’s competition consists of 33 countries.
Local jury will shortlist photographs and forward them to the international jury. The evaluation process will begin in October. Jury will judge photos based on their technical quality, originality, creativity and potential usefulness.
What Do The Winners Get?
Winner of the competition will get a scholarship worth 2,000 Euros to attend the international Wikipedia conference in Italy in 2016. The top 10 photographs from Pakistan will get an “exclusive” Wikipedia gift. Pakistani Jury will select their own three best and seven highly commended photos for the international contest.
